Holly Hill Lane - Sarisbury Green
The design for this project features three distinctive materials, with grey zinc roofing and vertical Siberian larch timber cladding split up with sleek white render.
Our brief was to extend and renovate the existing bungalow into a contemporary family home in Sarisbury Green, Southampton. A planning application was submitted to and approved by Fareham Borough Council for the extension and refurbishment of the existing dwelling situated near the Holly Hill Woodland.
The striking external appearance is complemented by the internal craftsmanship of plywood carpentry, resin flooring and a custom kitchen. The finish and materials are not only especially selected and hard-wearing for modern day family living, but also relate the spaces of the kitchen and dining area to the outside rear patio with a level threshold.
The design also includes innovative glazing solutions, with framed views to the Holly Hill Woodland to the East and towards the River Hamble to the West.
