Planning consent was obtained from Chichester District Council to develop a holistic approach to renovating the appearance of the whole property. Large scale glazing plays a key role in design concept, placing carefully positioned openings in the external envelope that capture framed views towards the South Downs National Park.
Externally, the elevations of the existing barn have been updated with traditional brick and timber cladding, reflecting the building’s original purpose whilst creating an attractive family home.
