Connaught Village - Hyde park
Helyer Davies Architects were appointed from RIBA Stages 0 - 4 on this mews property in Connaught Village, Central London.
We received planning consent from Westminster City Council to alter the roof and rear dormer, enabling us to provide additional accommodation space within the top floor.
The newly refurbished mews house offers the benefits of a new-build home within a characterful and quaint mews setting near Hyde Park.
The property has been reconstructed internally and offers a brand new, high-end specification comprising an exceptionally bright ground floor reception room with dual aspect, a contemporary open plan kitchen-dining room, two large ensuite bedrooms, a guest cloakroom and a secluded patio.
The interior is finished in a light paint, allowing the beautiful timber flooring that runs throughout the house to feature.
To achieve the light open plan nature, the renovation features frameless Cantifix glazing over the basement stairs, bringing the outside in. A misting fire suppression system was also incorporated to allow for the open plan living spaces that create the light and airy interior quality.
