Strict time constraints restricted the project’s programme, meaning that the required information could not be prepared and procured through a traditional tender process. Instead, we designed and tendered each section of work with approved sub-contractors, keeping the client informed of projected and actual costs.

The project was completed in 2016 and provides the end user with a dynamic daylighting system which controls the light intensity and colour to match a sensor positioned on the roof. This helps to maintain the natural body clocks of the staff. On the floors above, 22,000 sq ft of office accommodation has been introduced including a new level on top of the building.
