188 Fleet Street - London

188 Fleet Street was, until recently, the home of Coutts and Co Bank in the City of London. Our client purchased the 35,000 sq ft building in 2013 and we immediately set about a major refurbishment to house our client's publishing company. Due to the time constraints on the programme, we could not prepare the information and procure the working through traditional tender. Instead, we designed and tendered each section of work with approved sub-contractors, keeping the client informed of projected and actual costs.

Our client’s staff have moved into the building in 2016.  They are enjoying the dynamic daylighting system which controls the light intensity and colour to match a sensor positioned on the roof.  This helps to maintain the natural body clocks of the staff.  On the floors above, we have 22,000 sq ft of office accommodation nearing completion, including a new level on top of the building.Our client’s staff have moved into the basement floor on our Fleet Street office project.  They are enjoying the dynamic daylighting system which controls the light intensity and colour to match a sensor positioned on the roof.  This helps to maintain the natural body clocks of the staff.  On the floors above, we have 22,000 sq ft of office accommodation nearing completion, including a new level on top of the building.
